JohnnyO is a composer and producer from the Netherlands. He is based in a town called Nijmegen. JohnnyO started playing guitar at the age of 13. Guitarist like Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa had a major influence on his musical thinking and mixing of sounds. Rock played a major part. JohnnyO was influenced by other musicians and played in different bands.

He studied communication science and recorded many songs in that period. After a while he got fed up with tossing his gear around to rehearsels and gigs. So he began recording in his basement while attending an real job. He learned to play other instruments (drums, bassguitar, keyboard). This site is a result of all these years of producing songs and soundscapes. Every piece of audio on this site is written by JohnnyO during a long period.

During the last 5 years he got interested in making video and grafic art. To mix and blend them with his sounds seemed obvious.
